VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION

We are lucky enough to have a team of wonderful, dedicated and friendly volunteers. As with so many organisations we have a lot of people who turn up willingly week after week, month after month, asking very little in return. They perform a variety of jobs and bring their own unique skills and personalities to the team. Our shop especially would grind to a halt without these generous and committed people. Without the Governance Board members the whole organisation would cease to exist.

To show our appreciation of those volunteers who have been with us for five years or more we have created an Honours Board to display in our shop. Shirley, our longest serving volunteer, has been with us since 2003. She is followed by Vice Chairperson Rique (2004), Edwin (2008), Carol, Nick, Erin, Amber and Pauline (2009), Doris, Maria, John, Diane and Lucia (2010) and Pauline M (2011). What an amazing effort for a small organisation. They are all worth their weight in gold and we extend our sincere thanks to them all for their contribution.

It won't be long until we have more names to add as others are nearly at the five year mark also.
