We are looking for an amazing person to take over the role of Shop Co-ordinator of our charity shop as our current person has made the exciting decision to retire and see the country.
We are looking for a Shop Co-ordinator who has the following skills/qualities…
- Trustworthy, reliable, consistent, friendly with a sense of humour but able to be assertive when necessary
- Good communication skills
- Ability to be flexible with tasks and changes in routine
- Knowledge of the local area
- Community minded attitude
- Experience in retail management
- Team player with people skills
- Experienced with volunteers
- Energetic, able to lift/move heavy objects around
- Trained in First Aid and health and safety requirements
- Able to work all day Friday and Saturday mornings as part of longer hours
- Valid New Zealand work permit necessary
- Ability to drive a manual van would be a bonus
